Inbound receptionist
Your phone answered around the clock: after hours, on holidays, and when nobody in the ring group picks up within the seconds you set. The AI says it's an AI and that the call is recorded before anything else, answers from your public knowledge base, takes messages and books meetings. After each call this agent reviews what happened and tells the right person when there's something to do.

What it's for
No caller goes unanswered, and every call that needs a person reaches one.
- Small teams that can't staff the phone all day
- After-hours and overflow calls
What you get
- What happened on the call: outcome, summary, any message or booking
- A message to the caller's owner when they need to follow up
When it runs
- When you run it
- After each call the AI took
What it uses
- Phone calls (needs your own Telnyx account)
- Your Closefinch records
When you run it yourself, you choose (an event fills these in):
- The call
Its steps
- Review
- Tell the owner
Approvals
Reads the call and messages a teammate inside the platform; nothing is sent outside. On the call itself: the opening always says it's an AI and names your business (you can reword it, not remove it); recording starts after the notice and stops if the caller objects; unidentified callers hear public knowledge-base sections only.
Checked before release
The template's eval suite must pass these before a version ships:
- Tells the owner about a message the AI took
- Never quotes a caller who asked not to be recorded
Questions
- When does the AI answer instead of us?
- You choose per number in Settings → Voice agents → Inbound routing: always, or after hours and on holidays with your ring group first in business hours (the AI takes the call after the seconds you set, or at once when nobody is available).
- Can it book meetings?
- Yes, on your own booking pages' open times, with the invite going to the email the caller gives.

Emergency dispatcher
When a customer reports an emergency, it checks what they described against the emergencies you handle (burst pipes, no heat, a gas smell: your list and your words), and if it is one, pages your on-call ladder: the technician on call by text, an automated call with press 1 to accept, and in the app, repeating every few minutes and escalating to the backup and then a manager until someone accepts.
Account memory keeper
Reads an account's recent conversations and saves the durable facts (preferences, processes, risks) to the account's memory, each with the quote it came from.
Won deal handoff
When a large deal is won, waits an hour for the dust to settle, then opens the onboarding task for the team.
