Pipeline · For Sales, RevOps
Forecast manager
The day before your forecast call, checks every Commit deal against six conditions in the buyer's own words, shows the range (conservative, expected, optimistic) with its formulas, flags pushed and stale deals and thin coverage, and tells you which deals to downgrade.

What it's for
Every Commit deal is backed by evidence, and the call is a range you can defend.
- Sales managers
- CROs
- RevOps
What you get
- A forecast review: the range, failing commits with what's missing, deals to look at, and downgrades to make
When it runs
- When you run it
- Wednesdays 15:00, the day before a Thursday forecast call
What it uses
- Your Closefinch records
You choose:
- Who gets the review (a teammate)
- Whose forecast (a teammate, or the whole organization): Default: yours (whoever starts it, or the agent's manager on a schedule); the whole organization is for owners (optional)
Its steps
- Forecast
- Review · the model works this out
- Send the review
Approvals
It changes nothing: categories, stages and close dates are changed by people. It only messages the person named.
Checked before release
The template's eval suite must pass these before a version ships:
- Names each failing commit deal with its missing conditions
- Never changes a deal: suggests downgrades for a person to make
Questions
- Where do the commit tests come from?
- The weekly forecast pass tests every Commit deal (Sunday night, or Forecast → run now); each deal can be re-tested from the Forecast page.

Act on signals
When a signal fires on an account, reads its dated why-now evidence and leaves the owner one concrete next step as a task, citing the signal.
Stalled deal nudge
Finds open deals that have gone quiet, decides one concrete next step for each, and leaves a follow-up task for the team.
Stalled deal recovery
Every morning, finds deals with no activity for two weeks, works out why the last thread went quiet from the last call, and puts a recovery email in each owner's inbox to approve.
