How it connects
- Each person connects their own account.
- You sign in to Google Meet and approve the permissions it asks for (listed below). We never see your password, and the access it grants is stored encrypted.
- New items are picked up about every 30 minutes.
Native transcripts come first, so no bot joins when the platform already made one. The recorder bot is there for the rest, with a notice and a stop link for everyone in the meeting.
Connect it
- In Closefinch, open Settings → Integrations and find Google Meet under its category, marked Personal.
- Choose Google Meet and sign in to it, then approve the permissions it asks for.
- New items are picked up about every 30 minutes. You can pause it or disconnect at any time.
