How it connects
- Each person connects their own account.
- Fathom sends events to an address Closefinch gives you, checked against the signing secret you copy from Fathom.
- Changes arrive as they happen.
Native transcripts come first, so no bot joins when the platform already made one. The recorder bot is there for the rest, with a notice and a stop link for everyone in the meeting.
Connect it
- In Closefinch, open Settings → Integrations and find Fathom under its category, marked Personal.
- Choose Fathom and paste its signing secret.
- Copy the webhook address Closefinch shows, and add it in Fathom's webhook settings.
- Changes arrive as they happen. You can pause it or disconnect at any time.
