# WordPress

Approved page titles and descriptions, and drafts of approved articles, through an application password.

Part of [Marketing](https://www.closefinch.com/integrations#marketing). Your own website and ad and analytics accounts. Agents read reports; changes to your site or campaigns wait for a person's approval.

## How it connects

- Connected once for the workspace, by an owner.
- You paste your WordPress user name and application password from WordPress; it's stored encrypted.
- Nothing is copied in. It's used only to make changes to your site, and an agent's change waits for a person's approval by default.

## Connect it

1. In Closefinch, open Settings → Integrations and find WordPress under its category.
2. Choose WordPress and paste your WordPress user name and application password.
3. You'll also need your WordPress site's address, under the connection's Advanced settings.
4. Nothing is copied in. It's used only to make changes to your site, and an agent's change waits for a person's approval by default. You can pause it or disconnect at any time.

What the form asks for:

- WordPress user name: Use an Editor account, not an administrator.
- Application password: WordPress → Users → Profile → Application passwords (WordPress 5.6 or later).

Nothing an agent sends out through a connection goes without Closefinch's policy checks and, by default, a person's approval. Every integration: [https://www.closefinch.com/integrations](https://www.closefinch.com/integrations).
