# Salesforce

Two-way sync of accounts, contacts, opportunities, leads, tasks and notes. Sandboxes too.

Part of [CRMs](https://www.closefinch.com/integrations#crm). Keep your current CRM. Closefinch syncs two ways, or writes through, and shows conflicts for a person to settle. Moving over instead? The migration tool imports from a connected CRM or files.

## How it connects

- Connected once for the workspace, by an owner.
- You sign in to Salesforce and approve the permissions it asks for (listed below). We never see your password, and the access it grants is stored encrypted.
- New items are picked up about every 5 minutes.

## Connect it

1. In Closefinch, open Settings → Integrations and find Salesforce under its category.
2. Choose Salesforce and sign in to it, then approve the permissions it asks for.
3. New items are picked up about every 5 minutes. You can pause it or disconnect at any time.

## Permissions it asks for

- `api`
- `refresh_token`
- `id`
