# RingCentral

Calls from telephony-session events.

Part of [Phone and dialers](https://www.closefinch.com/integrations#calls). Calls are logged to the contact and account matched by phone number, with recordings and outcomes.

## How it connects

- Connected once for the workspace, by an owner.
- RingCentral sends events to an address Closefinch gives you, checked against the verification token you copy from RingCentral.
- Changes arrive as they happen, and it also checks on a schedule.

## Connect it

1. In Closefinch, open Settings → Integrations and find RingCentral under its category.
2. Choose RingCentral and paste its verification token.
3. Copy the webhook address Closefinch shows, and add it in RingCentral's webhook settings.
4. Changes arrive as they happen, and it also checks on a schedule. You can pause it or disconnect at any time.

What the form asks for:

- Verification token: The verificationToken set on the webhook subscription.
- Client ID (optional): a RingCentral app using JWT auth (scopes ReadCallLog, RingSense).
- Client secret (optional)
- JWT credential (optional): Developer Console → Credentials → JWT.

Nothing an agent sends out through a connection goes without Closefinch's policy checks and, by default, a person's approval. Every integration: [https://www.closefinch.com/integrations](https://www.closefinch.com/integrations).
