# Plaud

In-person recordings through Plaud's Zapier trigger.

Part of [Meetings and notetakers](https://www.closefinch.com/integrations#meetings). Native transcripts come first, so no bot joins when the platform already made one. The recorder bot is there for the rest, with a notice and a stop link for everyone in the meeting.

## How it connects

- Each person connects their own account.
- Plaud's notes reach Closefinch through a Zap in your own Zapier account, checked against a secret you choose and put in the Zap's request.
- Changes arrive as they happen.

## Connect it

1. In Closefinch, open Settings → Integrations and find Plaud under its category, marked Personal.
2. Choose Plaud and enter a secret of your choosing.
3. In your Zap, add a Webhooks by Zapier step that posts to the address Closefinch shows, with that secret as its Authorization header.
4. You'll also need your own Zapier account: Plaud's notes come through a Zap you set up.
5. Changes arrive as they happen. You can pause it or disconnect at any time.
