# Microsoft Teams

Imports Teams' own transcripts of meetings on your Outlook calendar.

Part of [Meetings and notetakers](https://www.closefinch.com/integrations#meetings). Native transcripts come first, so no bot joins when the platform already made one. The recorder bot is there for the rest, with a notice and a stop link for everyone in the meeting.

## How it connects

- Each person connects their own account.
- You sign in to Microsoft Teams and approve the permissions it asks for (listed below). We never see your password, and the access it grants is stored encrypted.
- New items are picked up about every 30 minutes.

## Connect it

1. In Closefinch, open Settings → Integrations and find Microsoft Teams under its category, marked Personal.
2. Choose Microsoft Teams and sign in to it, then approve the permissions it asks for.
3. New items are picked up about every 30 minutes. You can pause it or disconnect at any time.

## Permissions it asks for

- `offline_access`
- `openid`
- `email`
- `User.Read`
- `OnlineMeetings.Read`
- `OnlineMeetingTranscript.Read.All`

Nothing an agent sends out through a connection goes without Closefinch's policy checks and, by default, a person's approval. Every integration: [https://www.closefinch.com/integrations](https://www.closefinch.com/integrations).
