# Gong

Calls with briefs, key points, next steps and transcripts.

Part of [Meetings and notetakers](https://www.closefinch.com/integrations#meetings). Native transcripts come first, so no bot joins when the platform already made one. The recorder bot is there for the rest, with a notice and a stop link for everyone in the meeting.

## How it connects

- Connected once for the workspace, by an owner.
- You paste your API key from Gong; it's stored encrypted.
- New items are picked up about every 30 minutes.

## Connect it

1. In Closefinch, open Settings → Integrations and find Gong under its category.
2. Choose Gong and paste your API key.
3. New items are picked up about every 30 minutes. You can pause it or disconnect at any time.

What the form asks for:

- API key: Create one in Gong.
