# Close

Write-through: leads, contacts, opportunities, tasks and notes are written to Close.

## How it connects

- Connected once for the workspace, by an owner.
- You paste your API key from Close; it's stored encrypted.
- New items are picked up about every 5 minutes. With the optional webhook signature key added, changes arrive as they happen.

## Connect it

1. In Closefinch, open Settings → Integrations and find Close under its category.
2. Choose Close and paste your API key.
3. New items are picked up about every 5 minutes. With the optional webhook signature key added, changes arrive as they happen. You can pause it or disconnect at any time.

What the form asks for:

- API key: Close → Settings → Developer → API keys.
- Webhook signature key (optional)
