# Agent inbox

A dedicated address for forwarded reports.

Part of [Agent inbox](https://www.closefinch.com/integrations#inbox). Forward reports and emails to an agent's own address and they're filed and acted on.

## How it connects

- Connected once for the workspace, by an owner.
- Email sent to an agent's address reaches it through your inbound email service (for example Mailgun or Postmark), checked against that service's signing secret.
- Changes arrive as they happen.

## Connect it

1. In Closefinch, open Settings → Integrations and find Agent inbox under its category.
2. Choose Agent inbox and paste your inbound email service's signing secret.
3. In that service, send inbound mail for the agent's address to the webhook address Closefinch shows.
4. Changes arrive as they happen. You can pause it or disconnect at any time.

What the form asks for:

- Inbound signing secret: Mailgun: your HTTP webhook signing key. Postmark: the password you put in the inbound webhook URL (https://inbox:<secret>@…). Custom relay: the secret it signs X-RA-Signature with.
